The 70s Are Staying Alive

I hope you all have noticed the 70s inspired fashion that is SO on trend right now! From flare bottoms, to lace up tops, to chunky heels, and of course fringe I simple cannot get enough! I'm not quite ready to jump into a time machine and immerse myself in the fashion but I don't mind a little fringe here and there and of course a great poncho. This poncho is perfect for those casual days with jeans or dressed up with some black skinnies and booties. I bought this from a local Charlotte boutique but I've linked some favorites!

Black and White

Let's talk about how I take casual work days up a notch.....most Thursday's around the office are "jeans days" and of course we maintain casual Friday's. You may not have noticed but sometimes I'm not what you would call a casual dresser, just not my style. Don't get me wrong, I like to be comfortable like the next person but I enjoy my style....I basically get to play dress up everyday! Since Fall is upon us my go to for these casual days is a great pair of structured knit pants and shirt. While my casual outfits are pretty typical, what's NOT is this fabulous plaid top I picked up from.....Target! I get myself into serious trouble in that place. Am I the only one? I go In for things like soap and toothpaste and walk out with a buggy full of goodies and of course a little style. I'm obsessed with this top and the Adam Lippes collection right now.  Top is crisp, fits perfectly, has great cuff details, and hangs low enough to cover your bottom is choosing to wear leggings. Top is fantastic and Target for the win!

Tribal Print Love

From my Saturday adventures in the artsy part of town and hanging on the patio of my fav local brewery to my work Wednesday this dress is absolute darling perfection! I'm a southern girl (one of the best you'll ever meet) through and through so when the Fall season comes around I can't imagine losing the vibrant colors in my wardrobe. Bare legs and booties and fine for now but I've got colored tights and riding boots on my mind! And the $38 price tag is just the treat I needed!

Blanket Skirt

Tis the season! Fall is the season is to wear all things comfy, cozy, and fashionably cute of course. I'm a total repeat offender when it comes to this blanket skirt but I'm not ashamed...not even a little bit! I wore it during the work week but couldn't resist putting this stunner back on for some weekend sheningans! Let's just say I won't be pushing this piece to the back of my closet any time soon. I see some tall riding boots and an oversized cardigan for pairing this beauty in the coming months. Trust me, you need this skirt!

Awesome Autumn

Good evening loves! I have been far beyond occupied with updating my first home in preparation for my housewarming party but my love for autumn runs deep. I don't like winter and I don't like spring, summer days are my favorite but Autumn days are as beautiful as they come. Watching the leaves turn and the array of colors around can be so breathtaking. About a week ago, ok literally a week ago I wore this perfect plaid top pair with a skirt that screams the very essence of autumn. Find you style and follow the path you desire!
