Travel Guide: Glamping in Asheville

Welcome! The first week of the 2018 New Year and this year is starting off on a good note. 2017 had some amazing happenings I haven't yet shared with you also!.  If you been following for awhile you know that my travels are what I look forward to most! Every destination or adventure is an experience that I am truly blessed to enjoy.  I'll admit that every few months or so, the travel bug really bites me hard! Anyone else?  Out of all the adventures last year that I mentioned in my reflections post here,  I think the most unique was glamping in Asheville at the end of the year!

I'm a city girl through and through so the idea of camping has never really been to high up on my list.  I really enjoy the comforts of modern civilization and there are just some must-haves missing from traditional camping that I just can't get down with.  That being said, hence GLAMPING! By some definition I found, glamping is simply camping with added amenities.  And believe me these amenities are important! For years I've been wanting to visit Asheville, NC for more than just a day trip seeing the Biltmore Estate and I finally planned it out.  A part of the planning included the accommodations of course and I wanted something outside of the box.  Luckily I knew about Asheville Glamping from pure coincidence and boom a plan was born!

Planned to drive up on Friday afternoon but ran a little behind leaving Charlotte arriving at the campsite far after the sunset and let me tell you trying to find something in the dark in the mountains is scary! Luckily the hosts from Asheville Glamping provided very detailed directions and without them I might still be trying to find my way. I selected the #SilverBettie for the duration of the stay and it was the best decision!  A sleek vintage camper complete with heat, wi-fi, stove, indoor bathroom, and a hot tub.  Believe me when I saw it with my own eyes I let out a shriek because it was so dang CUTE! This site is just about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and a short drive to everything you need.  I enjoyed getting to explore the city and eat my way across town but this spot is an undeniable treasure.  Even on the cold December nights I shimmed by bikini wearing tush outside to get inn the hot tub.  It was so relaxing and magical to look up at a clear starry sky. Check out pics of the chicest vintage getaway and some Asheville spots.  I simply couldn't recommend Asheville glamping enough to everyone and I cannot wait to plan my next adventure glamping with them! I'm thinking I'll be back come Spring.

  1. Many consumers not familiar with Breitling often fear that they will end up purchasing a Breitling watcheswithout knowing it. How likely are you to getwhen you aren't looking for one specifically? Well first of all there are numerous places online that sell Valentino handbags. Most of these sites are from Asia (where Replica Valentino Handbags are made) and are pretty clear about the fact that they sell replica watches.?
